Day 1 — Meet in Colombo & City Highlights
Meet your guide at the Colombo International Airport.
Gangaramaya Temple, Seema Malakaya & Beira Lake
Gangaramaya is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Colombo, founded by the scholar-monk Sri Sumangala Nayaka Thera in the late 19th Century. The Seema Malakaya is a serene meditation site nestled on the Beira Lake.
Independence Square
Independence Memorial Hall is a national monument commemorating Sri Lanka’s independence from British rule on 4 February 1948.
Colombo National Museum
The National Museum covers the natural and cultural heritage of Sri Lanka. Exhibits include endemic flora and fauna, over 5,000 specimens, fossils and geological displays.
Jami Ul-Alfar Mosque (Red Mosque)
The Red Mosque is an architectural wonder with striking color patterns and unique design — a highly photogenic site in Colombo.

Day 2 — Colombo → Pinnawala → Sigiriya
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
Pinnawala cares for orphaned and injured elephants. Visitors can watch the elephants bathe in the river and observe caretaking routines.
Sigiriya Village Tour with Lunch
Experience rural Sri Lankan village life with paddy fields, bullock cart rides, catamaran rides, Chena cultivation, traditional cooking demonstrations and an authentic Sri Lankan lunch.
Elephant Back Riding
Ride on the back of a tame elephant with a mahout guiding the experience. Passengers sit in a wooden saddle (basket) that carries four people — a memorable chance to be close to these majestic animals.

Day 3 — Sigiriya → Dambulla → Kandy
Sigiriya Lion Rock
The Sigiriya rock fortress (5th century) — also called the ancient city of Sigiriya — features the ruins of King Kasyapa’s palace, landscaped gardens, frescoes, water gardens and the famous stone lion gateway. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and often called one of the eighth wonders of the world.
Dambulla Cave Temple
Built by King Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C., Dambulla is the largest painted cave temple complex with over 2,000 sqm of painted walls and ceilings — another UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 4 — Kandy → Scenic Train to Ella
Art & Craft Center, Kandy
Largest handicrafts showroom in Sri Lanka — antiques, wood carvings, masks, batiks, silverware, paintings and traditional collectables.
Gem Museum
Learn about gemmology and browse Ceylon sapphires, diamonds, pearls and other gemstones. A short educational stop with shopping opportunities.
Batik Factory & Shop
See the wax-resist dyeing (batik) process — cotton fabrics dyed with intricate patterns using wax and a copper cap stamp.
Ramboda Waterfalls & Tea Plantation
Visit Ramboda Falls (109 m) and make a stop at tea plantations/tea factory near Nuwara Eliya to observe tea processing and enjoy a tea-tasting session.
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa)
Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and nearby Kandy Lake. In the evening, enjoy the Kandy Cultural Dance Show (starts approx. 5:30 PM) showcasing Sri Lankan arts and dance.

Day 5 — Ella → Yala
Train Ride (Nanu Oya → Ella)
Take the world-famous scenic train through tea plantations, viaducts and valleys (2–3 hours). This is one of Sri Lanka’s most photogenic train journeys.
Little Adam’s Peak
Easy hike with panoramic hill views, passing tea plantations, waterfalls and paddy fields. Approx. 1141 m in height — often called Punchi Sri Pada.
Flying Ravana (Zip-line)
Sri Lanka’s mega dual zip-line near Ella — 550m length, speeds up to 80 km/h — gives a bird’s-eye view of the hills (1-hour experience for adventure lovers).
Ravana Waterfall
Named for the legendary demon king Ravana; one of the wider waterfalls in Sri Lanka and a popular scenic spot.
Overnight stay: Yala
Day 6 — Yala Safari → Galle & South Coast
Yala Morning Safari
Start at 6:00 AM for a Jeep safari in Yala National Park — famous for high leopard sightings, elephants, birds and reptiles. Typical safari lasts until about 10:00 AM.
Coconut Tree Hill & Secret Beach
Visit Coconut Tree Hill for sunset-worthy photos. Secret Beach (near Mirissa) is a beautiful swimming and snorkeling spot — watch for turtles in season.
Parrot Rock, Mirissa
Secluded rock island viewpoint with spectacular views of Mirissa Beach and Coconut Tree Hill. Access varies with tide (may require wading).
Galle Fort (UNESCO)
Explore the Dutch-built Galle Fort: ramparts, lighthouse, clocktower and Groote Kerk. The fort blends European architecture with South Asian traditions and hosts cafes, galleries and shops.
Turtle Hatchery & Ayurvedic Spa
Visit a turtle hatchery for conservation-focused tours. Optionally experience an Herbal Ayurvedic Spa in Bentota with traditional treatments: herbal oil massage, steam, scrubs and reflexology.
Overnight stay: Galle
Day 7 — Departure
After breakfast, proceed to Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB) for your departure flight. End of services.
